In a bid to boost international arrivals, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has joined forces with Expedia Group to introduce the “Uniquely Yours” campaign, aimed at promoting the country’s outstanding tourism experiences.

The campaign focuses on attracting premium travellers from the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada by tapping into Expedia’s wide global reach, which spans over 200 travel platforms in 70 countries and draws millions of users each month.

Launched on November 5, the initiative markets Uganda as a top destination for authentic and sustainable travel, featuring experiences such as gorilla trekking, birdwatching, and adventure activities. It highlights the nation’s rich mix of wildlife, culture, and exploration, alongside its commitment to conservation.

Through Expedia’s platform, Uganda can connect with travellers seeking unique and meaningful trips. A dedicated page will showcase the country’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, while engaging content—ranging from images and videos to suggested itineraries—will bring the destination to life.
