Tour Plan
Your guide will meet you at the airport and brief you about the tour. Then, embark on a 2.5-hour drive to Musanze. En route, enjoy the green hills and farmlands. Upon arrival, check in at Kinigi Guesthouse (Budget) and enjoy a simple but tasty dinner.
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Begin your trek with experienced guides and porters. The duration of the trek varies depending on the gorilla family's location. After the trek, return to the guesthouse for lunch and an optional visit to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Overnight at Kinigi Guesthouse (Budget).
Start the day with a cultural visit to the Gorilla Guardians Village for hands-on experiences such as banana beer making, traditional hunting techniques, and Intore dancing. After lunch, drive back to Kigali and check in at Discover Rwanda Hostel (Budget).
After breakfast, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial for an emotional but essential experience. Then enjoy some local shopping and transfer to the airport for your flight.
