Tour Plan
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for the scenic drive to southwestern Uganda. Pass rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages before stopping for lunch en route. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Check in at Bwindi View Bandas (Budget) and enjoy dinner while preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by rangers. Begin your trek through dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. The trek may take 2–6 hours depending on their location, but the reward is extraordinary: one magical hour observing these gentle giants. Return to your lodge for a hot lunch and rest. Optional evening community walk available. Overnight at Bwindi View Bandas (Budget).
After breakfast, drive back toward Kampala or Entebbe. Stop for lunch along the way and cross the equator line for photos and souvenir shopping before drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
